The story of Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge grows from its location. Here, the forests and farms around Mount Meru meet the wildlife landscapes of Arusha National Park, while local communities carry generations of knowledge about the land. The lodge was shaped to give travellers a peaceful place within this environment rather than separating them from it. Cottages sit among tropical gardens, organic produce supports the kitchen when available, and experiences encourage guests to understand more of Tanzania than can be seen through a vehicle window. As the lodge has grown, four additional rooms, an expanded garden area, a swimming pool, a sauna and a massage parlour have added new ways for guests to rest without changing the nature-led purpose at its heart.
